The Boston Irish Wolfhounds is one of the premier rugby clubs in the United States, competing in the New England Rugby Union Division 2. Our club boasts the fighting spirit and camaraderie that have served as our guiding principles since the club’s foundation in 1989. The Wolfhounds embody the international nature of rugby, bringing together the closely linked communities of Boston and Ireland. With players representing from all over Ireland, the United States, New Zealand, England, Australia, Argentina, Canada, South Africa and Venezuela.
We are open to players of all ages and levels of experience to join through our many programs, and we offer a brotherhood that values hard work and experience.

The Wolfhounds are blessed with some of the best and most convenient facilities in the Boston area: a central and T-accessible practice location, a dedicated rugby pitch for home games, and a sponsor bar on Boylston Street for celebrating victories.
We practice on the football field at BC High. 150 Morrissey Blvd, Boston.
All weather, floodlit field, accessible from JFK/UMass Redline station.
We play at the Irish Cultural Center in Canton, MA. 200 New Boston Dr.
Full sized, dedicated rugby pitch with stands. Facilities include a changing room with showers and a full bar. Just a short drive from Boston.
You can find us post-match at Ned Devine’s in historic Faneuil Hall, watching 6 Nations Rugby at MJ O’Connor’s in Park Plaza, or any of the other fine Briar Group establishments in downtown Boston.
